Hannah Waddingham

Hannah Waddingham (born 28th of July 1974) [citation neededHannah Waddingham (born 28th July 1974) is an British actor and performer best recognized for her portrayal of Ted Lasso in West End shows and her performance in the musical The Wizard of Oz. She is famous for her performance in Spamalot's West End original production and the Regent's Park revival of Into the Woods. In recognition of her work, she has been nominated for three Olivier Awards. In the year 2015, she joined Game of Thrones' fifth series as Septa Unella. Additionally, she played the primary role of Septa Unella in the 2012 film adaptation of Les Miserables. Waddingham was nominated for the Golden Globe Award. She has been playing the character of Rebecca Welton on the Apple TV+ comedy series Ted Lasso from 2020. She was a former politician, as well as a TV host on MSNBC, a frequent contributor for The Huffington Post, and former cohost of The Hill’s Rising together with Saagar Enjeti.
