Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Psaki was the oldest of three daughters. She was born to Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist 8] and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), who were both real estate agents. Her grandfather was a Greek who moved to Greece in 1904, and her maternal grandmother was of Irish descent. The couple was married in 1976. Psaki is also Polish-American. In 1996, she graduated from Greenwich High School. In 2000 she graduated with an education from the College of William & Mary. She is a Chi Omega sorority member. Psaki was a backstroke swimmer for William & Mary Tribe for two years. Psaki's career began in 2001, when she was involved in the campaigns to re-elect Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrat for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack, a candidate for governor. Psaki was later appointed deputy press secretary for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was also the director of communications of Joseph Crowley, a U.S. representative, and was the regional press secretary of Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced that Psaki will serve as a political analyst during 2022's United States Presidential Elections. She will also host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming service in 2023.
